NL Day 22 – St. John’s
Battery Cafe, Cape Spear, Petty Harbour, Bridie Molloy’s Pub, Taf, Rod, Mike Herbert
After lunch at a local cafe, we drove to the Cape Spear Lighthouse, which is the easternmost point in Canada. Then drove down to Port Petty. Yet another quaint fishing town.
Then back to St John’s, rested and then met Tabitha and Rod for dinner at Bridie Molloy’s Irish pub.
On our way out, a voice called out ‘Hey Peter! Is that you?’ Since it was me, I turned and there was Mike Hebert at a table with his wife and friends. Mike is the guy who helped me build my house 17 years ago! We met again in Newfoundland!
